<p><span><b><u>PURPOSE AND SCOPE:</u></b></span></p><p><span>Responsible for overall procurement strategy and delivering enterprise sourcing and supplier delivery activities for outpatient medical facilities. The Senior Vice President of Supply Chain and Project Management will lead the Strategic Sourcing and Site Development teams to ensure effective capital procurement operations, including sourcing, contract negotiations (price, delivery, warranties, rebates, etc.), vendor management and associated services, quality assurance, expediting, issue resolution, and by reviewing inventory cost, utilization, and contract compliance to achieve the organization's financial goals and initiatives.</span></p><p><span>  </span></p><p><span><b><u>PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></b></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Develop and lead enterprise strategic sourcing and site development plans, ensuring competitive procurement sourcing strategies, cost savings, and materials management best practices. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to advance strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier relationship management.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Manage reporting and cost/value analysis activities and key performance indicators related to purchasing, sourcing, contract management, and vendor management.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Communicate financial and performance measurements, which serve as a gauge of cost reduction, revenue generation, variability reduction and process improvement initiatives.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Identify healthcare industry cost drivers and develop efficient sourcing strategies, contract negotiations, performance guarantees, and operations.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Continuously improve systems, processes, and procedures to achieve cost savings. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the strategic sourcing and site development functions and other enterprise functions to create and deliver value creation.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Provides leadership, guidance and coaching to all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce; partnering with Human Resources on employee relations issues.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborates with employees in the establishment of clear and concise development plans to ensure succession planning and the advancement of future leaders within the organization.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Develops company-wide function or corporate and/or organizational strategies and policies and authorizes their implementation.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Interacts internally and externally with executive level management, consultants and corporate leaders, requiring negotiation skills over extremely critical matters.  Interacts at all organizational levels to manage business; strong interaction with Presidents and CEO.  Represents the organization to external customers.  Influences long-term vision and strategy of corporate consequence.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Provides technical guidance.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Performs other related duties as assigned.</span></p></li></ul><p><span><span><span><b><u>PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS</u></b></span><span><b><u>:</u></b></span></span></span></p><p><span>The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</span></p><ul><li><span>This job operates in an office setting.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
